I just spend a half an hour talking to someone who isn't there. Crazy? Maybe. It made me feel better so I don't mind. Jeez its been a while since I've updated this journal. Hell, I haven't added anything new to this site in a while. I guess I just haven't been to artistic lately, what with trying to teach myself the college curriculum. Take my advice: If you want to be a game designer, don't go to DeVry University. They'll fuck you up something good. Seriously, I played 9 month phone tag to get my campus switched. I was already enrolled, and they lost my paperwork. Then they lose my scholarship, then my credits from high school. Now I'm almost half way through my bachelors degree and I have yet to learn to make a freaking game. At least one that's not using Game Maker. Sure I can do C++ classes, but that's the freaking extent of my knowledge. Most of my classes are professional, business and essay writing, speech, psychology, leadership, networking, etc. Everything BUT the shit I need.

Sorry, sometimes I just get worked up because I'm terrified I'll get done with college and still not have any idea what I'm going to do to provide for my family. I'm just trying to get through and keep on progressing. There has to be SOMETHING I can do with a 4.0 bachelors degree in programming. "Sometimes life is like this dark tunnel. You can't always see the end, but if you just keep walking... Eventually you'll find you come to a better place", to quote one of the best-written characters ever (Iroh).

I just gots mahself a job at Kmart. I know, not the most glamorous job in the world, but it pays good, and it's not fast food. Holy sh-bleep-! Anyone heard about the earthquake? Yeah, that f-ing scared the shite out of me! For those who haven't heard, there was a 5.8 earthquake about half an hour ago in some place called Chino. Well I felt the effects; it knocked my fan over, and luckily didn't do any more damage than that. Seriously, it was really scary. First earthquake I've felt since, I don't know, 2nd grade, and that was was barely a .5 earthquake. Jeebus. Got my adrenaline pumping though, I still can't stop shaking from all the hormones. Luckily it's over, I think. I don't know if I'm going to be able to sleep tonight... >.>
